The Basic Safety Training encompasses 5 domains:

• 1 ) Fire Awareness (FAW)

  

  Recognizing the inherent dangers associated with working in wind parks and the ways to control and reduce these threats.

• 2 ) First Aid (FA)

  

  Offering knowledge on how to carry out safe and effective emergency medical responses within the confines of a wind farm.

• 3 ) Manual Handling (MH)

  

  Emphasizes the correct methodologies to undertake manual activities within the realm of the wind industry and turbine setups.

• 4 ) Sea Survival (SS)

  

  Showcasing techniques for surviving at sea and ensuring a secure transition between ships and facilities.

• 5 ) Working at Heights (WAH)

  

  This covers executing operations safely from elevated positions in secluded turbine scenarios, addressing the urgent response needs of newcomers in the worldwide wind energy field.

Through practical and theoretical training sessions, we ensure all participants are equipped with the knowledge to work safely and minimize risks within wind turbine installations.

• Mechanical Module

  

  • Understand basic tools and how to use them.
  • Understand under what circumstances equipment should be used with human safety as the top priority.
  • Measure dimensions in practice, use equipment to tighten and loosen bolts, understand material rigidity, and then determine the torque value.
  • Mechanical structures, mechanical principles, etc.

• Electricity Module

  

  • Understand electricity, 110V, 220V, high voltage.
  • Use multimeters, digital meters, measure, and calculate resistance.
  • Wire self-holding circuit diagrams in practice to understand the basic circuit structure.
  • Microgrid presentation simulating how offshore wind power is interconnected, transported, offshore substations, onshore substations, energy storage, and transmission to industrial and household electricity.
  • How high voltage is interconnected with the complete system, etc.

• Hydraulic Module

  

  • Introduction to hydraulic systems and pneumatic components.
  • Pascal's principle.
  • Hazardous chemicals, danger tag notifications.
  • Properly use to fill and release nitrogen.
  • Measure oil levels, adjust hydraulic pressure, etc.
  • PITCH, YAW, BRAKING movements, etc.

Blade Repair - Core Contents:

This course focuses on the ability to inspect, identify, and repair common damages on rotor blades, serving as the foundational techniques for wind turbine maintenance technicians. The course will also introduce potential hazards in the wind energy industry, the use of composite materials under challenging environments, and the safe handling of chemicals and materials under appropriate conditions.
